A comprehensive behavioural assessment
Various assessment tools such as the following are used: the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills-Revised (ABLLS-R), the Verbal Behaviour Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), The Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), and the Promoting the Emergence of Advanced Knowledge Relational Training System (PEAK) curriculum
As well as re-assessment and progress reports every 6 months
One to One (or other) services
Direct one to one service based on child’s specific treatment goals
Building language skills, social skills, play skills, adaptive behavioural skills, academic skills, skills related to executive function and emotional regulation and reducing challenging behaviours as related to the assessment/curriculum’s mentioned above and using empirically validated ABA based research
Data is taken daily on programs. Adjustments to teaching protocols are made based on what the outcome of available data.
Maintenance (ensuring the skill is maintained over time) and generalization (teaching/learning under new and different conditions) is built into all of our programs.
